He also heads the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms. Yoshua Bengio, Geoffrey Hinton, and Yann LeCun are considered as the Godfathers of AI and have been awarded the 2018 ACM A.M. Turing Award for achieving major breakthroughs in deep neural networks.
