Idea Judging Criteria (out of 100%)

Idea Completeness (20%)

  • Does the submission include all required materials and clearly state the intent of the idea?

Create Differentiated Value (50%)

  • Can the idea solve a real business problem?
  • Does the idea tie to one of our themes?
  • Is the idea innovative and unique?
  • Can the idea contribute to a boost in Nationwide or partner productivity?
  • Can the idea increase or create new revenue streams for Nationwide and its partners?

 

Technical Feasibility (30%)

  • Is the idea technically able to be implemented within the boundaries of our prototyping round?
  • Does the idea have a defined technical scope?
  • Does the idea leverage current, modern design trends and techniques?

 

Prototype Judging Criteria (out of 100%)

Improve Operating Efficiency (30%)

  • Did the team solve a real business problem?
  • Can it contribute to a boost in Nationwide or partner productivity?

 

Expand Nationwide’s Reach to Serve More Members (20%)

  • Is the application easy to understand and simple to navigate?
  • Is the application design attractive, intuitive and easy to view?
  • Can the application contribute to a boost in customer enthusiasm?

 

Create Differentiated Value (20%)

  • Can the application increase or create new revenue streams for Nationwide and partners?
  • Can the application be extended to allow interaction with other applications and platforms?
  • Is the solution innovative and unique?

 

Technical Completeness (30%)

  • Is the application functional for a live demo?
  • Was all of the stated functionality from the idea submission fully implemented?
  • Is the application code secure, reusable and scalable?
  • Does the application architecture align with industry technology trends?
  • Does the interface utilize current, modern design trends and techniques?
