iHack Alpha: AI-Enabled Solutions

You are to follow these guidelines for the Ideation Phase:

1. Participants must create an account at https://platform.sentient.io. All participants may use the promotion code "iHackAlpha" to receive 5000 free credits.
2. Your idea submission must include the following:
   • Idea Title: Written on cover page
   • Problem Statement: What is the specific problem?
   • State which microservice(s) from the Sentient.io platform you plan to use (at least one AI microservice from our platform must be used for the hack to be eligible).
   • Solution Overview with relevant diagrams.
   • Clearly articulate the methodology of how you will be building your prototype
   • State the impact/novelty of your solution, as well as the future scope of the project
3. Submit your solution idea in a powerpoint presentation (ppt) or PDF format.
4. You may additionally submit a video presentation of no longer than 5 minutes via a Youtube video (optional).

You are to follow these guidelines for the Prototype Phase:

1. Participants must create an account at https://platform.sentient.io.
2. Final submission must make use of at least one API on the Sentient.io platform.
3. Final submission must address one of the 4 Challenge Statements.
4. All projects must contain the following in their submission
• Project overview (3-4 sentences explaining what you built
• Include working code with GitHub/GitLab repository URL.
• Include documentation, infrastructure diagrams
• A Powerpoint presentation of no more than 12 slides.
• You are also to provide a demo video (max 7-minutes) to present your prototype and how it addresses the Challenge Statement.
• You are to deploy your solution/app on a cloud platform of your choice. Recommended platforms with free trials are: Heroku (No credit card required), AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Google App Engine, and Google Firebase
