Past Editions

The Inaugural “Pitney Bowes SMB Hackathon”, September-October 2017 attracted thousands of developers across the world. This also brought innovators from within the company and various developer communities like Google developer community to create apps and solutions for the next generation Pitney Bowes Send Pro C- series device.

Winners

Of the 65+ solutions submitted, Pitney Bowes selected four top applications based on their business potential, user experience, and technical complexity. The company is evaluating these applications for product readiness and market fit over the next two months before integration into the SendPro C-Series device.

The four winning applications from the Pitney Bowes Global Hackathon are:

1st position: Ordoro for C-Series: One-stop-app for shipping orders from all channels Developed by Ordoro in Texas. The application enables small and medium businesses to sell to multiple ecommerce marketplaces by managing inventory and printing labels directly from the Pitney Bowes SendPro C-Series device.

2nd position (tied): TrackMyPackage: Real-time shipment tracking TrackMyPackage allows SMBs to track shipments in real-time on their C-series device. The application provides transparency to both the sender and the receiver creating better customer experience with reliable deliveries.

2nd position (tied): Same Day Delivery: Simplified On-demand hyperlocal deliveries for SMB EcoGO enables same-day deliveries using UberRUSH on the C-series, making on-demand deliveries convenient for businesses. SMBs can deliver in-city shipments cost effectively using Same Day Delivery and know the shipment location in real-time.

3rd position: ShipBot, A chat-bot for Self Service ShipBot is a Chat-bot that helps business owners manage customer support efficiently. The bot is powered by artificial intelligence and can be used for various shipping and mailing use cases. It can be used as a self-service tool for C-Series users to significantly reducing support calls
