Rules

Applications will be judged on the following Judging Criteria

Fitment & User Personas - SMB (30%) - How well does the product serve the SMB, user personas & themes

Innovation (20%) - How innovative is this idea, and how did you come up with it?

Scalability (20%) - Does this product work when applied outside of a hackathon setting?

Functionality (20%) - Does this solution solve the problem it's intended for?

Usability and Experience (10%) – How easy is the solution to be used by SMBs

Rules

All participants making their submissions are eligible for the prizes.

This is a team participation hackathon. You can have at most 4 members in your team.

You can either invite your friends to form a team or you can request other teams to add you as a member.

Entries without the Idea Submission Presentation will not be considered for evaluation.

Entries must be submitted on the Hackerearth site.

You are expected to come up with new and innovative ideas, any idea that has been copied from somewhere will be disqualified.

Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc.

All submissions to the Pitney Bowes SMB Challenge remain the intellectual property of the individuals or teams that developed them. By registering, the Participants are consenting to the terms of the SMB Challenge, and entering a submission, however, the Participant agrees that Pitney Bowes reserves the first right of refusal to acquire the intellectual property for a period of one year starting on the date of announcement .
