Almost half of Honeywell’s 22,000 engineers are focused on software, with 100 percent of our businesses developing software that is CMMI Maturity Level 5 compatible. About 60 percent of Honeywell’s growth over the next five years will be connected to software, making it the fastest growing part of our portfolio.

Today our engineers are working on projects including cyber security, data analytics, augmented reality, edge-cloud communications, mobility applications, and applying voice or sound capabilities in our offerings. These are substantial, high-impact software projects that are at the intersection of the digital and physical worlds. This work will make a difference in the industries we operate in – aerospace products and services; control technologies for buildings, homes, and industry; automobiles; and performance materials.
