Rules

  • You can have 1-5 members in your team. It would be beneficial for students to form teams from a mix of diverse backgrounds.

  • Please check the eligibility criteria before you register.

  • You can either invite your friends to form a team or you can request other teams to add you as a member. Click here for a PDF Guide on how to do that.

  • Please make sure to submit your ideas before the end date. The Virtual Idea phase will start on Sep 14, 2022, 12:00 PM IST and end on Oct 10, 2022, 11:59 PM IST. Here is the idea submission template.

  • The 24 hour onsite hackathon will start at Nov 17, 2022 09:00 AM IST and end at Nov 18, 2022 10:00 AM IST, you work on your hack during the allotted time only.

  • The location for the Onsite 24 hour Hackathon is the Siemens Healthineers Office - GoldHill, Bangalore.

  • Covid protocol will be followed at the onsite hackathon. Participants will have to show proof of double vaccination.

  • There will be no travel and stay reimbursement for the onsite hackathon.

  • You must submit a hack in one of the 3 themes defined for this hackathon.

  • Once the hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack, you can submit as many times as you want, the last hack will be considered as the final submission.

  • You are expected to come up with new and innovative ideas, any idea that has been copied from somewhere will be disqualified.

  • Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc. You can use any of them to create the solution. Please ensure that the third party software being used is properly licensed. Siemens Healthineers will not be liable for any violations on this regard.

  • The intellectual property of your code belongs only to your team.

  • By participating in the hackathon, you agree to the terms and conditions of HackerEarth.
