Rules & Guidelines
- This is an Individual/Team participation Hackathon. A team can have 1 - 4 members. Please note no changes to the team structure will not be encouraged once registered.
- You can either form a team with your friends/colleagues or you can request other teams to add you as a member.
- There are 3 themes for the Hackathon, you must submit an idea that is in alignment with one of the themes.
- This Hackathon will consist of 3 phases as mentioned in the event flow. The last date to submit your entries along with your ideas is on August 22nd, 2023 11:59 PM IST.
- You are expected to come up with new and innovative ideas. Please note that any idea that has been copied or borrowed from any source including but not limited to internet sources may not be considered for the Finale.
- Once the Hackathon submission phase commences, you will get an option to submit your idea. You can submit as many times as you want and the last submission will be considered as the final submission within the stipulated window mentioned above.
- Only the top 100 entries selected and invited by Rakuten India will be eligible to participate in the Finale. The selected teams will work on the hack from the Rakuten office during the Finale event.
- All team members are expected to be physically present at Rakuten Office for the finale event
- Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration.
- The Hackathon Finale is a 2-day event starting from September 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM IST and ending on September 9th, 2023 at 07:30 PM IST;
- You may use open-source libraries and other freely available systems/services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc.
