Winners are announced.
Global eTrade Services is looking for the next generation of techies to take on the e-commerce world!
If you thrive on hacking out Solutions and Business Plans, we want you to join the very first GeTs Hackathon.
The sudden booming growth of cross-border e-commerce has posed various challenges to both sellers and consumers. For eCommerce, B2B shipments can have small order quantities and a low merchandise value, while B2C shipments tend to be highly variable and very small, with many falling below the minimum threshold for taxes and duties.
With the increase in both the number of small consignments and the volume of e-commerce trade, how can sellers fulfil their promise to customers of on-time delivery at a predictable cost? What technology and business innovations could be designed to facilitate cross-border eCommerce activities to enable fast clearance for e-commerce shippers, yet meet the need for secure border clearance for government authorities?
