- You can either invite your friends to form a team or request other teams to add you as a member.

- This is a two-phase hackathon.

- Phase 1 of this hackathon is the ideation phase where participants submit to HackerEarth a one-page pitch of their idea that includes the problem to be solved, planned datasets you will use, explain how your AMP will employ ML methods to solve the problem, and the key benefit(s) of the proposed solution. Based on innovation and benefits provided by the proposed AMP, determined by Cloudera, participants with the top ideas will be invited to participate in phase 2. There will be no prize money for phase 1.

- Phase 2 of this hackathon is the development phase where the top submissions from phase 1 are invited to use open source tools to develop their AMP on Cloudera Machine Learning. Working prototypes should be submitted to HackerEarth by the deadline. Additional information on the final submission can be found in the submission guideline section.

- This is an online hackathon, you can participate from anywhere. Participants must be US residents.

- There are **5** themes of the hackathon, you may submit a hack that is in one of these themes.
