Since now the participation window is open, kindly go to "Create a team" and fill in all the relevant details for the startup edition and you can add your team members( Please note for the startup edition, your teammates can only be your colleagues) and start the participation.

does it mean that in order to participate as startup we need to have a startup company? so a legal entity?

my team is all made of work colleaagues working in aa IT consultaancy compaany. can we register as startup?

When you register as a startup, you are required to state where the startup is registered, so yea it has to be a legal entity
