Grindr is a pioneer in mobile-based geolocation applications. One of the most successful apps ever, Grindr exists to connect nearby gay men, no matter where they are in the world. Having recently revolutionized our platform, Grindr is now able to scale to millions of users worldwide on multiple applications.

Whether it’s access to finding health services, finding out what events are popular nearby, or organizing local communities, the Grindr platform is ready to solve new location-based problems in real-time for our users.

We’re putting out a call to all coders; what application would you add to our platform in an effort to enhance the overall Grindr experience for gay men globally?

Deliverable: A proof-of-concept mobile application that exists to solve location-based problems in real-time for our millions of global users. This can be either as part of the existing Grindr app, or on it’s own (supported by the platform).

Assumption: The application will benefit by being launched to our existing user base, therefore it should be assumed that a critical mass of users is already in place for any new applications.
