Friuno is an customisable home automation control system that allows you to control virtually any device in home or commercial or industrial buildings through the concept of smart switchboard.It can control both smart and non smart devices at a time.
Objective: Our proposed solution solves various problem in our daily life at our home, office etc. 1. In our proposed solution we are introducing a new type of system called SMART SWITCHBOARD, which is a replacement for the current manual switchboards. Using this switchboard, the user can control all their device from anywhere in this world. 2. There are so many smart devices(bulbs) in the market which also can be controlled wirelessly. But at a point we need to have a system to manage all those devices of different vendor from one place, which is practically impossible. 3. And also the prices of these devices will cost explicitly high and it wouldn’t be possible for common people here in India to convert their homes into smart homes 4. Current home automation system needs the non-smart devices to be removed and useless since it doesn’t have any use. It pays way for this since we no need to remove or replace any non-smart device in to smart devices like smart bulbs. 5. The only thing is to replace the switchboard of each room in house and all the devices will be smart enough to control wirelessly. 6. We can switch on or off any device in any room from anywhere. 7. The mobile app can show the status of each switches in particular room so that the user can know the status of the room 8. The app shows how much unit consumed by devices in each room as well as load used. 9. The user can able to know whether there is power in their home from remote location. 10. The app also shows the usage statistics of each room based on hour/day/week/month and yearly. 11.It can also be controlled using smartwatches. 12. We are also exposing api’s so that developers can use these api’s to develop their own app with extra functionalities.
TARGET CUSTOMERS: 1. Newly constructing homes, apartment’s, offices, shopping malls etc since it would be easy to install the system without any major change. 2. Getting contract with builders across major cities initially which will be easy to get accepted. 3. Since newly constructed building will look out for home automation system to make their home into smart home, it would helpful for us to get tied up with local builder and install the product at discount prices. 4. At last we can target the existing homes, apartment’s, offices whom are willing to convert into smart home. This requires to replace the current switchboard with our smart switchboard which would require some change in the electrical system of the building.
