India is not only considered to be mobile-first nation, but some even go to the extent of saying that we might soon become a mobile-only nation. India's total internet user base is expected to be at 354M out of which 213M is on mobile. With more than 60% of the nation consuming internet on mobile, there is an amazing opportunity to not only create a seamless mobile-first experience for them, but even define the way they perceive the Internet.
Mobile-first is not only a hyphenated term but an actual phenomenon. Because of a small screen size, quick and easy access to the consumer and the ability to notify them on the go, gives you ways to solve problems that were previously difficult to solve or come up with innovative solutions for existing problems.
This hackathon aims to gather technology enthusiasts and give them a platform to build apps that can make banking and finance easier and more accessible, apps that make our eco-system safer and more secure or apps that create a better experience for us in the field of e-commerce.
