- This is an individual participation hackathon, you need to participate individually.
- The hackathon will start from 13-05-2016 06:00 PM and end will at 05-06-2016 11:55 PM, you work on your hack during the allotted time only.
- There is 1 theme of the hackathon, you must submit a hack that is in this theme.
- There are 3 levels of the hackathon, you must submit a hack in each one of these levels.
- You are expected to come up with solution and decoded video file.
- Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as ffmpeg, gstreamer, binwalk etc.
- Acuiti has the right to reach out to the participants for the IP. However, the intellectual property of your code belongs to your team.
- Once the hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack, you can submit as many times as you want, the last hack will be considered as the final submission.
- The submissions will be judged by the appointed judges, the decision of the administrative team will be final and binding.
- Results will be announced two weeks after the hackathon ends.
- By participating in the hackathon, you agree to the terms and conditions of HackerEarth.
— To eligible for prizes, you should at least solve one extension from the Level-3.
Evaluation Criteria :
- ** Level of difficulty solved: the more you work on solving the toughest level 0x03, the more it helps you get more score. Potential points will be awarded based on the correctness of the solution and not just uploading the videos.
- Deliverables: Functional Source code and video(s) for respective level.
- Github, Bitbucket or any repository containing deliverables.
- Description of each level solved along with brief detailing on methods used. You are free to use readme.md as information on extensions you've worked on.
- Screen scraping would not be considered a solution.

Data sharing agreement
Seequestor is working with the support of Law Enforcement Agencies(LEAs) to design, develop and test a pilot system to reduce the time required by analysts to manually view CCTV footage in order to increase operational effectiveness and productivity.(The Pilot Scheme).
We recognise our obligation under the UK Data Protection Act to safeguard appropriately any data shared with us by the LEAs (the Data Owners) including – in particular – any operational data provided for use for research purposes as we develop and test the software and systems.
The high level agreement establishes principles that apply to all individuals (eg working for SeeQuestor , or itscontractors) who are working on the pilot scheme and are provided with access to this data. It sets out the rules and principles that we will observe.
- Data will be stored in a secure environment where it can only be viewed by authorised persons engaged in the officially sanctioned business of the Pilot Scheme.

We will not release data to any person not involved in this project, without the expresses written permission of the data owners (eg an LEA).

We will not release data relating to, or resulting from, the pilot on the Internet on social media or in the media,or any other public forum without the express written permission of the data owner.

On completion of the pilot scheme, video data will be returned to the owner, including any copies, and details of the research undertaken on the data will be provided to the owner if required.
Individuals involved in the project are asked to read this agreement and sign below. In doing so I realise that failure to comply with this agreement may result in me (and my organisation and others involved in developing the pilot) committing a criminal
offence under UK, EU and international data protection laws.
