Technology is evolving rapidly and generates opportunity for new age experiences. Honeywell Eureka Design Challenge 2016 lets you showcase your innovative or breakthrough ideas that can change the future experience of IT.Winners and runner ups get exciting prizes and get recognized by Honeywell.
Event opens for submissions from September 9th to 18th, 2016. The Honeywell User Experience IT (HUE IT) representatives will be available online to assist and clarify during the course of the hack-a-thon. The top 5 ideas will be shortlisted and these teams will have to refine their ideas on Honeywell’s Orion Campus, Bangalore. They will present their refined ideas. The winning team and two runners up teams will be announced after re-evaluation by the judges.

Title: Design an augmented reality based self-service experience to provide technical support for IT equipment such as computers,phones, printers, etc.
Description: The concept should be designed around detection, reporting and fixing of issues in IT equipment with minimal human intervention. Things to consider but not limited to are smart notifications, auto detection of issues, augmented reality based assistance, and virtual assistance based support helpdesk.

Title: Design an innovative end to end online purchase experience for a wide range of industrial and consumer products and services
Description: The concept should be designed to delight users for a successful online purchase of Honeywell products. This includes an enticing way of product presentation, adding to a cart and check out. It may also have option to request a quote and/or request someone to contact. Product info may include product images, 3D models,white papers, comparisons, value calculators, support info, return policy, etc.

Title: Design a smart collaboration experience in meetings, to provide access to contextual information while the meeting is in progress.
Description: The concept should be designed around a smart collaboration system which provides context of a meeting while a meeting is in progress. Things to consider but not limited to include participant identity detection with details on location, organization, and job profile; reference document access, both in the form of hyperlinks and physical documents; prior conversation archives and meeting minutes.
