  1. What are the themes?
    Refer to Theme section in the website.

  2. Who can participate in the competition?
    Undergraduate and graduate design students currently enrolled at a college or university. The competition is open to all design students and upcoming design graduates (graduation taking place in 2017 or any time after).

  3. What is the team size?
    The team can have a maximum of 2 students. You can also participate solo if you wish.

  4. Can I submit more than one idea under a single theme?
    No. You can only submit one idea per theme.

  5. Can I opt for more than one theme?
    No. You can only select one theme out of the three options available.

  6. How do I register for the competition?
    You can register into the competition under 'Register' section of this webpage.

  7. What is the last date for registration?
    The last date for registration will be September 18, 2016

  8. How do I submit my entry?
    You should submit your deliverables using the submit button available on the banner of the website

  9. What is the last date for submission?
    Last date for submission of entry is September 18, 2016 (23:59.59 IST) Remember, you should submit your entry within the time frame from September 9-18, 2016. Only registered student can participate and submit their entry. So it is advisable to register as soon as possible to confirm on your submission.

  10. What should my submission include and what format should it be in?
    You must submit both

    1. A click-through prototype of the wireframe clearly showing the screen-flow
    2. A presentation highlighting:
      • Problem/Opportunity area for user
      • Concept/ Product description
      • Scalability of the solution
      • Journey map of the proposed solution with focus on user experience
  11. What happens when I submit my entry?
    Once you submit your entry, they will be evaluated by a panel of judges from Honeywell using the evaluation criteria. Top five teams will be shortlisted for the final round and invited to visit Honeywell Bangalore Orion campus to present their ideas on September 26, 2016 to leaders at Honeywell. The winning team and two runners up teams will be announced on September 28, 2016.

  12. What is Stage 1 of the competition?
    Stage one of the competition starts from September 9-18, 2016. You should select a theme and prepare the submission as mentioned above to be reviewed by judges.

  13. How many teams will be chosen for the final stage (Grand Finale)?
    Top 5 teams will be chosen as finalists and will be invited to Honeywell’s Orion campus, Bangalore to present their ideas.

  14. When will the finalists be announced?
    The finalist selected from Stage 1 will be declared on September 21, 2016.

  15. When and where will the Final Round be held?
    The final round of competition will be held at the Honeywell Bangalore “Orion campus” where the final five teams will present their ideas on September 26, 2016. The winning team and two runners up teams will be announced on September 28, 2016.

  16. What will be the evaluation criteria?
    Your idea will be evaluated based on the following criteria
