Rules
- This is an individual participation hackathon. You can have at most 1 member in your team. Everyone will be working on code side by side but presented hacks will be made by one person for individual evaluation.
- Participants who take the technical assessment prior to the hackathon will be given more preference.
- The hackathon will start at 22-04-2016 09:00 AM and ends at 23-04-2016 06:00 PM, you can work on your hack during the allotted time of 24hours only.
- Once the hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack prior to end of the hackathon.
- You are expected to stick to challenge statements provided by Hack-a-Job startups, any others ideas that have been worked upon will lead to automatic disqualification.
- Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc. Use of technologies will also be guided by Hack-a-Job startups.
- The intellectual property of your code belongs only to your team.
- The top challengers for each individual hack will be invited for a discussion and to close-out the open position advertised.
- Sponsor prizes and giveaways will be arranged.
- By participating in the hackathon, you agree to the terms and conditions of Hack-a-Job and HackerEarth.
- Microsoft will be providing gifts and mentors/judges for the event.
