Objective of the Hackathon

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) is hosting the fourth edition of its hackathon, Brainwaves 2017-18.

The Hackathon will be conducted in two phases.

  • Online Hackathon – You are invited to participate in the online hackathon which begins on Dec 4th, 2017 and ends on Dec 24th 2017 at the HackerEarth Platform. This event will challenge your abilities on the Cybersecurity skill set. The details of the problem will be shared at the start of the event.
  • Offline Hackathon – Top scorers from the Online Hackathon will be invited to the bigger stage of the Offline hackathon at Bangalore, India. This event will be held on Jan 20th and 21st, 2018. This event is aimed at bringing together some of the brightest minds together for a 30-hour build session.

  • The IT business comprises a dedicated team of software engineers, business analysts and technology experts who interact with global stakeholders.
  • SG Global Solution Centre launched its Business Process Management (BPM) services in 2004. This business line is associated with service quality, competitiveness, agile solutions and international network coverage.
  • Global Technology Services (GTS) provides IT Infrastructure services to the Societe Generale Group and is one of the largest shared services centres for IT infrastructure among financial institutions in the world. Created on July 1, 2009, it serves most of the Group’s business lines across locations.
