TiE Delhi-NCR Hackathon!

• TiE Delhi-NCR Hackathon will run in two phases:

Phase 1: In first Phase participants will have to submit a Synopsis on one of the themes provided in Hackathon, which will later be judged by a panel of judges and best synopsis will move to Phase 2. Phase 1 will be an online phase that will open from 17th September,2015 @ 6.00 PM IST to 4th October,2015 @ 11.55 PM IST for synopsis submissions.

Phase 2 : Top participants will be invited to the Taj Palace Hotel ,New Delhi for the offline hackathon. The participants will have to built a fully functional App around the synopsis submitted in Phase-1. This phase will happen on 16th of October-15 @ the Taj Palace Hotel ,New Delhi. Only participants with an invitation will be allowed to participate in the offline hackathon.

• This is a team participation hackathon. You can have at most 2 members in your team.

• You can either invite your friends to form a team or you can request other teams to add you as a member.

• The Phase 1 of the hackathon will start at 17-09-2015 @ 06:00 PM and end at 04-10-2015 @ 11:55 PM, you work on your hack during the allotted time only.

• The Phase 2 hackathon will start at 16-10-2015 @ 10:00 AM and end at 17-10-2015 @ 11:30 AM, you work on your hack during the allotted time only.

• The idea will be shortlisted on 3 parameters:

  • Uniqueness of the idea
  • Practicality of idea implementation
  • Impact of the idea

• There are 3 themes of the hackathon, you must submit a hack that is in one of these themes.

• Once the hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack, you can submit as many times as you want, the last hack will be considered as the final submission.

• You are expected to come up with new and innovative ideas, any idea that has been copied from somewhere will be disqualified.

• Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc.

• The intellectual property of your code belongs only to your team.
