Overview

Goibibo.com is hosting a hackathon to invite enthusiastic developers to build innovative apps using travel API's which can help travelers to search, compare and buy from across categories such as flights, hotels, bus, and flights+hotels. The app can be built for web, mobile/tablet and/or desktop.

You can participate in the hackathon individually or as team of up to 3 people.

This hackathon will be conducted in 2 phases.

The first phase will be online, where the submitted applications (during the duration of the hackathon) will be evaluated by Goibibo team and the top ones will be shortlisted.
In the second phase, shortlisted teams will be invited in an offline event at Bangalore where they get to work on and present their application in front of panel of judges. The final winners will also be decided there.

Build an application that gives information about the hotel - does it have a good sitting area? Do they have clean bathrooms? What about places near by? There’s so much information about a hotel and their surroundings that can give a traveler a lot more context.

Personalization
