Fintech Valley Vizag – Finackathon 2017

Rules and Guidelines

1. There is NO Registration fee involved.
2. It is an open innovation, participants are free to code in any language, use any platform, technology stack and library.
3. Team size can vary between 1-5 members, with mandatory one team leader who will drive the conversation and represent the group
4. Shortlisted teams will receive an email communicating their selection for the Offline Hackathon.
5. Hackathon rules will be communicated to shortlisted teams
6. If you are the top 5 finalists, your accommodation will be taken care by us. Max two participants from each team.
7. Participants are required to carry their own digital devices to develop and present the solution. Examples of hardware & software - Laptop, mobile devices, POS machines, NFC Card Readers, Wearables, IoT Devices, Pen Drives, CD, DVD etc.
8. Fintech Valley will provide Wi-Fi connectivity during the Offline Hackathon
9. During the Hackathon all meals will be provided by Fintech valley

10. Your team will have to provide three (3) deliverables before the final presentation during offline hackathon.

    a. Working prototype

    b. Executive presentation (format of the presentation will be communicated to shortlisted teams)

    c. Source Code developed along with installation instructions

1. Decision of Fintech Valley will be final and cannot be challenged in anyway.

2. If selected as the winner or by a corporate partner of Fintech Valley Vizag to do a Proof of Concept (PoC), the PoC needs to be executed based out of Vizag.

3. The team will be disqualified if anyone in the team:

   a) Displays offensive behavior, verbal abuse, intimidation, sexual language, sexual imagery, or harasses team members, other teams, or staff

   b) Creates any kind of nuisance during final demo sessions

4. The idea submitted by you should be: (a) your own original work with no other person or entity having any right or interest in it; (b) does not infringe the intellectual property right or any other rights, including but not limited to contracts and/or privacy rights of any third party.

5. By participating, I agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions & agree that and Fintech Valley and Released Parties & their designees and assigns & all of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be held harmless by Entrant for any liability, loss, injury, claim, or damage to themselves or any other person or entity, including without limitation, personal injury, death, or damage to personal or real property, to Entrant or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize (including any travel or prize activity related thereto) or participation in this Event.
