  • HEY GUYS BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

The Shortlisted teams for the CYBERVEIN BLOCKCHAIN HACKATHON will be announced on the Telegram group, today at 5PM

Click here to join our Telegram group.

  • Why we have this Hackathon?

CyberVein has been aiming to create a whole new ecosystem for commercial data value that is based on economics, mathematics, finance, computer technology, sociology, and psychology, reinvent decentralized databases and the way we secure and monetize information, and subvert the world of network information in order to make data (bases) more credible, make data more valuable, and revolutionize the big data era.

On this ground, CyberVein welcomes you to Cybervein Blockchain Hackathon, a master-level hackathon to collaborate and compete with the best programmers, especially those who are passionate about blockchain in India.

  • What process does this hackathon have?

About Cybervein

Established by Singapore CV Technology, a non-profit organization founded in 2017, CyberVein is a project of public plus consortium chain, a network of immutable, blockchain-based databases, that is engaged in creating a more efficient and secure data ecosystem. CyberVein token (CVT) has been listed on the world's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, including HitBTC, OKEx, and Bit-Z.

CyberVein has four core competencies:

  1. DAG that improves transaction throughput and efficiency of massive data processing
  2. PoC, “contribution replaces mining” that avoids the concentration and abuse of hash power in the blockchain
  3. Programming language Vein and a virtual machine that enhances data protection
  4. New smart contracts that enable more secure and efficient data interaction

Blockchain for Data Management

With humanity moving deeper into the Information Age, modern societies produce increasingly large amounts of data that hold vast economic potential. Alas, lacking technological methods and economic incentives, this data remains siloed in isolated databases where it is prone to malevolent manipulation and its economic and cultural potential remains unutilized. The traditional way of data management has a lot of disadvantages. You are expected to use blockchain technology to build an application that is immutable to make it more secure and interconnected.

Blockchain for Identity Management

People have no way of proving their identity. In India, a person's details are distributed across multiple databases. This makes it very difficult to manage versions of the data. There is a need for a mechanism that provides a verifiable, digital identity for these individuals, which can be created using Blockchain technology. A system that allows multiple stakeholders to access all the data in one place can be built using Blockchain. Can you build an application that will help to solve the problem and allow a person to manage identities effectively?

Blockchain for Smart Wallets

Digital Wallets are secure systems that store payment information and passwords of users for a range of payment methods and websites. These wallets are designed to hold and use your cryptocurrency. With the use of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, Digital wallets can be used to complete purchases more easily and quickly. Users can also create secure passwords without worrying about having to remember them later. Some mobile payments have incorporated the use of Digital Wallets that allows users to pay for purchases directly from their smartphones. Keeping these things in mind, create a blockchain application for smart wallets.

Blockchain for Social Initiatives

Blockchain in education is initially focused on providing a more secure and immutable record of attendance or performance to replace current methods of issuing certificates. The blockchain initiative supports lifelong learning and provides verified recognition for learning that is accomplished outside of formal institutions. For example:

-This initiative can improve the literacy rate of girl children by automatically generating cash payments to their families when their daughter achieves a 90% attendance rate.

-Instantaneous transfer of currencies across borders to charitable organisations and emergency support will allow faster, more targeted response rates. Lower cost in transferring funds internationally could mean an overall increase in the funds sent to charities.

By using the provided examples, you are required to create a blockchain application that would improve the social sphere of society.
