RULES

  1. A participating team cannot have more than 4 members.

  2. All ideas/codes must be original and developed specifically for the event.

  3. Unisys reserves the rights of ownership to any of your work as part of this event. All participants are required to sign an undertaking in this regard before the commencement of the event.

  4. All your submissions under this event would constitute works for hire and hence, all the Intellectual Property Rights arising out of such submissions shall at all times vest with Unisys.

  5. You are required to start your software development from scratch after completing your registration for the main Hackathon event and improve it using the facilities and expertise available at the final event.

  6. Please get your own laptops, mobile phones and any other devices with the necessary software. While a Wi-Fi connection would be provided, no tech support for connecting your personal devices to the same would be available. You are also required to get all required software and hardware components for your project.

  7. Please exercise utmost caution while working with electrical and electronic components, power tools, heating elements, etc. Each individual is responsible for his/her own personal safety as well as the safety of their belongings and the equipment they are using.

  8. Request you to be mindful of others and advise those who may not be following safe practices at the Hackathon.

  9. By participating in the Hackathon, you confirm that you have read and agreed to all the rules and regulations stated above.

DISQUALIFICATION

  1. Maintain confidentiality of your ideas. Sharing or predicting of ideas, will lead to disqualification of the individual/team.

  2. Copyright violations, cheating, recklessness and endangering others, disrespectful behavior, immoral acts, illegal acts, use of alcohol, tobacco and/or banned substances at the event, being under the influence during the event etc. are strictly not allowed and will lead to immediate disqualification.

  3. Dropping out of the hackathon before the conclusion also leads to disqualification of the individual/team. All prizes won will be forfeited in such cases.

  4. Disqualification includes but is not limited to any or all of the above.

  5. Organizers’ decision will be final in all such matters
