TeenTechSF GLOBAL Civic Hackathon

A junior at Stanford, Marc Robert Wong, has worked in big companies developing tools to test new Firefox features to kick-start growth at Mozilla and in startups helping launch the first programmable network chip at Barefoot Networks. He's designed VR mazes for mice to help with Alzheimer research and Arduino bumper stickers to help humans reduce their carbon footprint. As a high school sophomore, he founded TeenTechSF -- now with US chapters and global partners in Seattle, Paris, New York, Shanghai, Chengdu, Tunis, and Nairobi.

A 17-year veteran of Cisco Systems, Gaurav Khanna has pioneered the use of advanced collaboration technologies to deliver technical "virtual sales" support and has won industry awards for onboarding and training young-in-career engineering talent. He has also managed Cisco's Customer Proof of Concept Lab, the networking industry's leading facility for testing advanced network designs and held research positions at the US Dept of Energy and NASA research centers.

A trail blazer in global education, Jane Camblin has served as the Executive Director of the United Nations International School in New York, the French-American International School in San Francisco, and is currently serving on the board of the Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill. She is the recipient of Johns Hopkins University's Sarah D. Barder Outstanding Educator Fellowship Award, Columbia University's Klingenstein Fellowship, and was named a Chevalier des Palmes Académiques by the French Ministry of Education.

Dan Zevin has been working in STEM-related fields for over 25 yrs. A Public Education Specialist at UC Berkeley, he is the founder of Bay Area Teen Science and and currently Co-Chairs Berkeley's Coalition for Education and Outreach. At Berkeley's Space Sciences Laboratory, he led two NASA-funded multiyear programs for high school students and prior to this, held positions at the Exploratorium, Astronomical Society of the Pacific, NatureBridge, The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii, and Los Angeles Zoo.

Educated in Russia, Germany, and the United States, Katja speaks five languages and is a search localization program manager and sourcing recruiter for business strategy consultants and analysts at Google. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of tech innovators -- especially young women in STEM -- and manages the Google summer internship program and is always on the look out for new talent!
