Calling all engineers! There’s an app for everything, why not create an app for good that will help find missing children?
We received a great response our last hackathon where we were looking for new strategies to search for missing children. Cloudera and Intel are again supporting the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children by launching a hackathon to ask our best and brightest in the tech industry to help develop an app that will support NCMEC’s efforts and help the public become better informed about missing children.
The hackathon launches on June 15th and will run through July 15th. We’ll have meetups and events during this time to support your work and a Livestream event to answer questions.
Further, we’ll have a Slack channel that we’ll use to communicate throughout this time to collaborate.
Goals:
All IP developed will be donated to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for use
