The aim is to show what apps can be made when frontend developers no longer need to think about database management. For the contest, you can create web apps, plugins, bots for popular systems such as Slack or Facebook, and a lot more - but no clones of existing systems.

Dgraph, the database powering Slash GraphQL, has a number of powerful graph features, and the hackathon judges will reward innovative use of data when giving out points. Additional points will be awarded for apps that are complete, have a clean user interface, and reach the levels of the functionality you’d expect from a completed ‘Minimum Viable Product’.
