OPEN POSITION

Senior Backend Developer
Experience: 4-6 years
CTC: INR 18.0L - INR 25.0L
Job Location: Bangalore
Openings: 3

CasaOne is a San Francisco-based, contemporary furniture rental company -- we are reimagining a fragmented, old-school industry that has completely dropped the ball on serving urban millennials and businesses who like to access and experience, rather than own, pretty much everything. CasaOne is a venture-backed firm with offices in SF Bay Area, LA, DC, NY, and Bangalore.

What you will do:

  • Build a scalable API platform that will serve our customer experience and propel our logistics.
  • You will be working with smart and motivated engineers in our Bangalore office who strive to push the business forward by building systems that are architecturally sound and scalable.
  • Also broadly, you will contribute to overall engineering efforts at CasaOne and to collectively solve problems for our customers.

What we want:

We are looking for a backend developer with 4-6 years of experience.

Requirements for this role are:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering
  • Good understanding of algorithms, data structures and design patterns
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and lead projects from end to end
  • Experience in building distributed systems and service-oriented architecture
  • Experience in asynchronous programming, Test Driven Development(TDD)
  • Experience in writing delightful APIs and integration patterns
  • Experience in RDBMS and NoSql databases
  • Experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools like git, Jenkins
  • Experience in cloud computing platforms - AWS / Azure / Google Cloud

CasaOne backend services are written in NodeJS. Experience in NodeJS is good to have, not a must. We believe technology is only a tool for great engineers. We value your understanding of core principles more than the tools used. We are open and enthusiastic about using different technologies which solve the problems better What we have

We have a flat, open culture where individual initiative is valued. Yet, we believe in helping each other and collectively solving problems. Productivity, naturally, is not judged by the number of hours you are at your desk.
