SYND iNNOVATE

1. In SYND iNNOVATE Hackathon you can participate individually or in a Team. You can have at most 4 members in your team.

2. You can either invite your friends to form a team or you can request other teams to add you as a member.

3. You cannot add/delete team members after the idea submission round ends.

4. The hackathon will be organized in 3 phases, 1st Phase will be Idea Submission Round, 2nd Phase will be Prototype Submission(Online Hackathon) & 3rd Phase will be Final Offline Hackathon Round.

5. In Ideation & online hackathon rounds, you can participate from anywhere.

6. There are 10 themes of the hackathon, you must submit a hack that is in one of these themes.

7. Once the hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack, you can submit as many times as you want, the last hack will be considered as the final submission.

8. You need to mention all the APIs you will be using while submitting your idea.

9. You are expected to come up with new and innovative ideas, any idea that has been copied from somewhere will be disqualified.

10. Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc.

11. The intellectual property of your code belongs only to your team.

12. By participating in the hackathon, you agree to the terms and conditions of HackerEarth.

Intellectual property rights

The Intellectual Property rights and ownership of Intellectual Property associated with Ideation and Presentation submissions with respect to the problem statement/themes will remain with the Participating Team. Syndicate Bank may employ the Team on a contract basis for the implementation of their solution in Bank if needed.
