Rules

  • You must select one of the three themes in your HackerEarth submission. However, it is not required that you make a project in one of these three themes, as long as you make a project for social impact. We will ignore the theme that is selected during the submission. The prizes that you select will be the ones that matter.

  • This is a team participation hackathon. You can have at most 4 members in your team.

  • The hackathon will start at May 06, 2017 12:42 PM and end at May 07, 2017 01:30 PM, you work on your hack during the allotted time only.

  • You must link/send your source code.

  • You must also demo your project at the judging session to be eligible to win the prizes.

  • Each team member who wishes to receive a prize must be physically present at the closing ceremony.

  • Once the hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack, you can submit as many times as you want, the last hack will be considered as the final submission.

  • Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc.

  • The intellectual property of your code belongs only to your team.

  • By participating in the hackathon, you agree to the terms and conditions of HackerEarth.

  • We reserve the right to not select the team for an award if we do not find a satisfactory submission.
