Our existing supply chains are perfectly suited to the needs that the business had 20 years ago. We are inviting creative minds to disrupt the existing supply chain focused on organic food supply in India.

Our company was conceived with the sole aim of empowering friends, family, and customers with the tools they need to achieve financial freedom.

To achieve this goal, we provide three distinct services: Nanban Foundation 501(c)(3), Nanban Capital, and Nanban Investments, Nanban Realty and Nanban Ventures.

Nanban Foundation is the For Impact Organization of Nanban Enterprise tasked with providing free, high-quality financial education to all. Every quarter, Nanban Foundation conducts webinars that offer the opportunity to learn GK Level-1 and Level-2 strategies for free. By the end of the webinars, participants can immediately apply the strategies to their own accounts in order to generate consistent cash flow. Our vision is to bring “complete financial freedom” to our Nanbans and celebrate the journey together.

Nanban Foundation is run by our excellent volunteers, who practice GK Strategies themselves and believe in serving others unconditionally. We are also involved in several charity projects to improve the living conditions of underprivileged Nanbans in India and the US.

Mothers for Mother Nature Project: We at Nanban Foundation want to help our farmers in India lead a dignified life. We believe they have been deprived of the opportunity to lead such lives despite providing the food that keeps all of us alive. Moving to our forefathers’ age-old practices of natural way of farming is the only way we can ensure that farmers are able to generate consistent income, improve their quality of life, and cultivate pesticide- and chemical-free produce, which will enrich our environment and return Mother Earth to her former self. In addition, we also believe that people of all classes in India must be able to afford organic and healthy food. Today, only the elite are able to afford to organic food due to the high cost. Joining hands with Nammalvar’s Ecological Trust and many other organizations, Nanban Foundation envisions to change the lives of our farmers, revive Mother Earth by natural way of farming, and make organic food affordable to all.

Themes

Supply Chain In India

Organic food must be mass produced and made available to consumers by limiting the most profit consuming intermediatory/process that exist in the supply chain today. Today farmers are hesitant to convert to organic farming, since there is not a high demand for their produce, because of the high cost. The supply chain process that exists today is not consistent across India. We want to conduct a Hackathon for Supply chain across India, inviting entrepreneurs, individuals, teams who have a unique idea that can change the existing process. We want this submission with a prototype, showing us how this can be implemented across India and how the farmers and consumers will benefit from it.

In USA, we have a process called Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). CSA is an example of an innovative way to do organic farming, we are not prescribing this method to be something that are looking for participants to pursue or submit. Although, we are emphasizing on the need to change the existing supply chain model of organic food in India, we will give more value to ideas that are changing the complete organic food end to end process i.e., sourcing the heirloom seeds, innovative ways to engage and bring the community to organic farming and selling the produce to consumers/retailers/wholesalers.
