Under the mission of co-develop social solutions and creating social impact in India, we “NEC Corporation India” and “Mitsubishi Corporation India” are collaborating and proceeding with multiple projects together. One of our collaborative projects is a hackathon, and we hereby hold our 2nd joint hackathon. Through our joint hackathon, we would like to find new ideas and solutions which are unique, feasible, and create a social impact for Indian society.
This time, the hackathon theme is a Property Tech. India has the second-largest population in the world, and obviously, it is an economically growing country. Mitsubishi Corporation India is currently developing one real estate project in Chennai with a local partner, and planning to launch the next project too.
With a growing economy, people's lifestyle is changing, and so are living places. However, Indian housing properties are currently almost the same style as the old generation one, meaning not much technology & solutions are introduced to this industry. (And obviously, not much difference in property for middle-class people even though its demand is high)
With this hackathon theme, we would like to target “Middle Class” people, and how we can add value to a property by integrating technology. We would love to develop attractive properties which can make a difference from the existing property by integrating technology and innovative ideas. Let us create an idea, solutions to make our future property attractive to live in!
About Organizers
The developer(s) of the solution will have all rights and own the background IPs, i.e. IPs which were developed by the teams prior to the hackathon. In case there is/are idea(s) that can move forward to the PoC with the organizer, the IP condition would need to be discussed with team(s).
