Ruth Dearnley OBE

Ruth Dearnley OBE has taken STOP THE TRAFFIK from an idea to an organisation with global impact.  She reshapes the conventional and reimagines the way the world can work better. Her love of people and their stories combined with her belief in technology allows her to bring together the people who can be part of creating the solution. Ruth sees the future early and builds what is necessary for today.

Clive Humby OBE

Clive has been applying mathematical methods and computer science to Census, Consumer, and other data sets for over 45 years. He has been at the forefront of innovation with consumer data. Initially using summarised data sets such as the Census at CACI and then laterly using individual transaction data at dunnhumby. Today, he advises a wide range of businesses and government on Data Strategy, Privacy and application of data to business processes.

Neil Giles

Neil is the CEO of Traffik Analysis Hub. He has a 10-year history in collecting and developing intelligence on the issue of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. Neil has been working with STOP THE TRAFFIK since 2008 and moved to lead Traffik Analysis Hub in 2019. With an extensive background in Law Enforcement, Neil has worked with New Scotland Yard, Regional and National Crime Squads, National Criminal Intelligence Service and Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) in leading major international programmes to counter organised crime. This includes as the UK Law Enforcement Attache to North America, based at the British Embassy, Washington DC. In SOCA, he led the Human Intelligence Department in collecting information globally on organised crime and has on the ground operational experience in Afghanistan, Colombia and in West Africa. He also served as COO at UK Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP).

Gary Miller

Gary is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution department of Mishcon de Reya LLP. He is an international litigator who has specialized in complex commercial disputes involving dishonesty, fraud, and corruption issues for over 44 years.

For the first 13 years of his career Gary worked in Hong Kong and headed up the Litigation Departments of two of the leading firms there. During this time Gary worked for the leading multi-national financial institutions in Asia, assisting them in asset recovery exercises and enforcing foreign judgments in Hong Kong and throughout Asia.

In 1991 Gary joined Mishcon de Reya and founded the Fraud Group which he led for over 15 years. He has pioneered the use of injunctions in the arena of asset recovery with particular emphasis on freezing assets, forcing disclosure of financial information, and seizing evidence via search orders in order to force speedy resolutions of commercial disputes.

Chambers 2021 cites Gary as a "strategically brilliant" and "a huge figure in the market." He entered the Legal500 Hall of Fame in October 2020.

Joe Boyle

Joe is a founder of Salt Communications and transitioned into CEO of the company several years ago. Salt Communications is a leading provider of secure enterprise mobile communications solutions to law firms, governments, and enterprises across the globe.

Joe's career has been focused on enterprise communications, security and network optimization. He has experienced considerable success bringing innovative new technologies to market, and helping customers adopt those technologies. Before Salt Communications, Joe was the Director of Product Management for Silver Peak Systems and Blue Coat Systems, both in the network optimization space; and before that was a founder in Replify, the first company to virtualize WAN optimization. Joe started his career in networking software roles and worked as a development manager at F5 Networks, and as a developer for Aepona (acquired by Intel) and Apion (acquired by Phone.com).
