Overview

Hyphen-Hacks is a 24-hour hackathon aimed at high school students from around the Bay Area from a diverse set of backgrounds and skill levels. We hope to create a space where all students are inspired to collaborate on new inventions and learn new skills along the way.

Grand Prize

USD 4000.00

The main prize of the event, this will be awarded to the best overall hack. The prize is a Pixelbook2 for each member of the winning team.

Best Data Science Hack

This prize goes to the best Machine Learning or Data Science related hack. The prize is a Google Home or Google Home Mini for each member of the winning team.

Best Beginner Hack

This goes to the best hack by a team of students new to computer science. The prize is a Google Home or Google Home Mini for each member of the winning team.

People's Choice Award

USD 200.00

This prize goes to whichever team gets the most votes at the end of the hackathon. The prize is a Google Home or Google Home Mini for each member of the winning team.
