Overview

Hacking is building things that you always wanted to have but no one has built it yet. It's to come up with an amazing idea and work tirelessly on it. It is to fail, fail again and fail better. Try out new things and learn while doing that. It's to work together, collaborate and build things that are innovative. It is to be a better programmer.

With that spirit, HackerEarth is conducting a hackathon - HCL Lucknow AI Hackathon and invites all developers and hackathon enthusiasts to participate in an interesting and engaging hackathon.

Eligibility: Final Year Students graduating in the Year 2020 pursuing B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA/Diplomas in colleges situated in Uttar Pradesh.

Predict the Price

Based on the population and labour distribution for the state of Uttar Pradesh, determine the ideal price bucket for the regularly used household products. You will need to bucket similar brands and prices, remove any outliers from the data, and determine the appropriate price range and discounts that should be tagged to each product category.

Sentiment Analysis

Using Machine Learning and Data Analytics, analyze the sentiments shared by tourists in the form of reviews and/or tweets across various travel sites. You need to share a detailed analysis of tourist sentiments to help gain more insights to help answer:

  • What is working well?
  • What are the areas of improvement?

Open Innovation

Using Artificial Intelligence and/or Data Analytics on open-source data sets, build any solution that can help derive premium value from data at hand.
