About Speaker

Ethan Frey is CEO of Confio where he is spearheading CosmWasm, the secure multi-chain smart contract platform leveraging the speed of WebAssembly and power of Rust. Previously, he was the Lead Software Engineer at Tendermint, bringing his years of experience building websites and APIs (with a focus on the backend). Ethan has searched for a way to bring all the tooling he enjoys from developing with web technologies (powerful data models, extensible APIs, quick UI dev, good test frameworks) into a blockchain application. He was introduced to the post-bitcoin blockchain world in 2014 through Ethereum and Monax.

Denis Fadeev is the Director of Developer Experience at Tendermint. He is passionate about lowering the barrier-to-entry for developers to build blockchain applications. Currently, Denis leads the development of Starport, which provides a developer-friendly interface to the Cosmos SDK, which allows developers to focus on writing business logic.

Deepanshu Tripathi is the CTO of Persistence One and has a substantial amount of experience in developing legacy finance applications. He is leading the team developing Interchain Standards (ICS) for NFT and Metadata for the Cosmos SDK. In the past, he was part of a three-person team to create a unified payment acceptance platform which got white-labeled to Reliance (invested by Facebook) and eventually sold to African Fintech for $9M USD.
