Full Stack Problem Setter Challenge

1. Do I need to pay any money to register for the Hackathon?

No. You do not have to pay anything to anyone to register yourself for any hackathon on HackerEarth.

2. May I submit more than 1 project?

Yes, you may submit as many projects as you want.

3. Do I need to have any specific qualifications to be a participant in the Hackathon?

If you love to code, you are more than welcome to participate in the hackathon.

4. Does one have to be online and available for the entire duration of the Hackathon?

No, one does not need to be logged in on HackerEarth or be online for the entire duration. You can create the problem statements on your local system based on the given themes and then submit them on HackerEarth, on the specific challenge page.

5. How is my project validated after submission?

This challenge is validated in two steps. They are as follows:

• Step 1: We will shortlist only unique ideas. Only the projects of the ideas that are shortlisted will be evaluated in step 2.
  Important: Even if your idea is brilliant, if your project does not have a hosted link, it will be rejected.
• Step 2: We will evaluate your project based on various criteria. Read FAQ #6 for more information.

6. What criteria will my project be evaluated on?

1. Code plagiarism
2. Flow of the project i.e. the pages must load without any errors
3. Code clarity
4. Read.me file clarity

7. How can a full-stack project be less than 5 MB?

The application should not have dependencies such as node modules in the Angular project, virtual environment in Django, and so on. Instead, these dependencies should be explicitly mentioned in the dependencies file, so that they can be installed directly into the production server when the project is built.
