24 hours, 10 problems and a chance to be the unrivaled programmer. Algorithms is the most sought after track in IndiaHacks, where you get to compete against some of the best programmers across the world. With problems spanning across all topics of Computer Science, and varying difficulty levels, put your coding skills to the ultimate test.

Contest Format

This round is an invite-only round. To get an invite to the contest, you will have to qualify in a qualifier round. 3 qualifiers will be conducted in the month of January and up to 1000 participants can qualify in each qualifier. You can participate in any of the qualifiers below

Once you qualify in one of the qualifiers, you will be invited to participate in the final online challenge.

From this online challenge, a maximum of 40 participants will be shortlisted and invited for an on-site contest. The shortlisting will be in the following format

  1. Top 20 Indian participants will be invited for the on-site contest at Bengaluru.
  2. Top 20 non-Indian participants will be eligible to participate remotely from their place

These top 40, will compete against each other to win the following amazing prizes

FAQs

Q: How much do I need to score in qualify in the Qualifier round?
The top 1000 participants with non-zero score in the qualifiers will be shortlisted for the online contest.

Q: If I am not in the top 1000 in one qualifying round, can I participate in another?
Yes, you can participate in multiple qualifying rounds and you need to qualify in only 1 of them.

Q: If I am in the top 20 in the final Algorithm round, does that mean I have won?
No, if you are in top 20 in the final Algorithm round, you have qualified for the on-site round. You will have to participate in the on-site round to win the prize.

Q: What if I am not from India and I am in the top 20, can I still participate in the on-site round?
Yes, we will shortlist the top 20 non-Indian participants who will be allowed to participate remotely from their locations.
