challenge statement:Real-Time, Personal Monitoring Device for Pregnant Women in Remote Areas Approach -My team designed and developed a low cost, portable, light, personal device, used by non-practitioners or the patients themselves in very remote areas to monitor wellbeing of mother and unborn child in real time. The system was capable of monitoring the Placental separation,Fetal wellbeing,Hypertension ,Fetal abnormalities / Fetal presentation and Mother wellbeing.The form factor of the device was a wearable belt and had an interface to an App .

My team developed an IoT based solution which will help in data collection of the weight(using wireless weighing scaled developed by us) and the quality of segregation of waste(rated by waste collector on physical inspection) at source enabled by a mobile App.The whole system was enabled by a cloud based data analytics cum waste management platform . This solution passively enforces quality segregation practices through gamification.

My team secured the runner up place at the event for the Swachh Sauchalaya solution-a crowd sourced IoT based toilet management system which allows users to identify toilets in the vicinity along with cleanliness parameters ,facilities available and user ratings.The users after using the toilets are prompted for ratings using beacon technology.Cleaning routines of the toilets are automated based on footfall tends.Public can add new toilets to the network and on verification it will become visible to users.
